San Antonio
Texas is visited by millions of families each year as a
destination for fun and relaxation. The world famous San
Antonio
River Walk (next to the hotel), is full of shops, restaurants, and
lots of color. San Antonio also has a Sea
World, and large amusement
parks. Adjacent to the famous Texas hill country, early April is
"bluebonnet season"
when all of South Texas is covered with these
beautiful and unusual flowers.
We encourage participants to bring their families.
On the last night of the meeting, Jim Bower is hosting a banquet at the Buckhorn Cafe.
We have every expectation that the WAM-BAMM
meeting will continue the long tradition of meetings combining
serious science with serious fun.
